Strategy calls, pitch sessions, and manuscript reviews for writers at any stage.
View the sessionsOffice Hours offers one-on-one sessions with literary agent and editor Jessica Kasmer-Jacobs. Sessions are open to writers at any stage. Places are limited and subject to availability.
A conversation about your project and where to go next, covering positioning, comparable titles, querying, submission strategy, and how publishing actually works.
We review your query letter, your synopsis or proposal overview, and your first ten pages. You’ll receive tracked changes on your query, followed by a call to nail down your pitch.
An in-depth review of your query and the first forty pages of your manuscript: we’ll talk about what’s working, what isn’t, and how to fix it.
A session does not imply or lead to representation by Blueprint Literary, and we do not make introductions to agents or editors.
Office Hours and submissions are kept entirely separate. Queries are read on their merits, and Office Hours are never offered in reply to a query.
If Blueprint ever offers representation on a project you have consulted on, every fee paid on that project is refunded in full.
If you have a publishing offer in hand, please query our submissions inbox first, with “Offer in hand” in the subject line.
